It all began with Christmas  

So many times we forget

When we sit around and open our gifts

What the whole story of Christmas is

That started so very long ago

Yes, Christmas is the birth of Christ

But it doesn’t stop there,

That isn’t the end my friend

But what about the rest of His life?

Where does all that fit in?

Easter we celebrate Christ rising from the dead

But what happened from Christmas till then?

It all began with Christmas so many years ago

Jesus came as a babe to do so many things

To teach, to heal, to die, to save…

To show us so many things.

In hopes that we would accept Him

As our Savior and King

It all began with Christmas, the miracle of His birth

But it does not end with Christmas

Or even with Easter, my friend.

So many times we get caught up in the seasons

And forget the whole story of CHRISTmas -

Christ’s story that does not end

So when you celebrate Christmas

Remember the story that does not end

And tell it to others so they might know

Of our Wonderful Savior and Friend.
