Hello everyone, Welcome to my web page!

For those who don't know me, my name is Heather. I am very quiet in 
nature but I have learned to speak volumes in my writing and with my art work.

I use to do a lot of painting and drawing (chalk as well as color pencils)
 in 1999. But I went through a spell where I stopped caring about everyone 
and everything. I stopped doing the things I loved to do. I just recently 
(within the last two years) started drawing again... and trying to 
get back into painting as well.

As for my writing... I didn't really start writing until 2001 when I was going through 
a really dark time in my life. I started writing poetry late at night when I couldn't sleep 
due to fear. Writing helped let out some of the pain that I had locked deep inside. As I let 
God heal my broken heart the more uplifting my writing became. I then went from writing poems 
to writing a short story and now I'm working on a novel which I hope to get published soon!

I have put together some of my poems and drawings for you to enjoy.
